Welcome to the Volleyball England club membership page. Here you can learn how to affiliate your club and find out the benefits of affiliating to Volleyball England. As a club we are here to support you in developing volleyball in your community. The membership package provides essential insurance, access to competitions, free DBS checks, Hub funding and club development support and much more.
The NVL is the top volleyball competition in England for clubs. The League comprises National Super League, National Division 1, National Division 2 and 3 National Division 3 Leagues for both Men and Women.
Required AAU Player & Coach Insurance. All players and coaches that wish to participate in an individual or team sport in AAU must have acquired a valid AAU Membership. $16-18 per player/coach fee. Includes sports accident and general liability coverage in AAU and NON-AAU events. Player/Family responsible for $300 deductible.
Required Club Insurance. All clubs that wish to enter a team (s) into an AAU event must have acquired the required AAU Club Membership. $30 per club (not per team) 10 million dollars of coverage for each occurrence. As of Monday 19th July, England has proceeded to Step 4 of the lockdown roadmap (see above). This means we have moved from a position of requiring activity to follow our Government-approved volleyball-specific safety plans to recommending the community follows a smaller, yet still effective, set of safety mitigations to minimise the risk of transmitting Covid-19 between participants.
The England Talent Pathway is for volleyball and beach volleyball and provides training and competition (national and international) opportunities in order to develop age group athletes. In volleyball there are two age groups: Cadet (U17) and Junior (U19). In beach volleyball there is one junior age group (U22).
The CEV U18 Beach Volleyball European Championship is the main European-wide competition in the calendar for athletes under the age of 18. After so long without competitions due to the pandemic, it’s fantastic to see Volleyball England’s junior teams starting to travel and play in major tournaments again.
New England Regional Volleyball Association (NERVA): $60 (non-refundable) Amateur Athletic Union (AAU): $18 if team participates in AAU Tournaments.
